account-polld software package provides Poll daemon for notifications though the Ubuntu Push Client, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install account-polld
account-polld is installed in your system.
Make ensure the account-polld package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep account-polld *
You will get with account-polld package name, version, architecture and description in a table
